Why an animated housewarming invitation

In your family’s words

Call it griha pravesh, gruhapravesam, pudhumai puguvizha or simply a housewarming: Rhyora takes the day as your family names it.

Only the blessings you ask for

Rhyora doesn’t assume a family’s faith from a name or a home. Ask for a Ganesh blessing or a puja line, and it’s part of what your invitation is drawn from.

A song for a new beginning

If you’d like a song, it’s written from what you tell us about the home and the family, in your family’s language.

Never picked from a template

No two Rhyora invitations are the same. Every frame is drawn for your family.

Common questions

How do I make a griha pravesh video invitation with a song?

Tell Rhyora about the new home and the day. Rhyora draws an animated invitation for your family, with a song written from what you tell us if you’d like one, in your family’s language, on one link guests open on their phone.

Can the puja and the lunch have different times?

Yes. Each part of the day can be its own function, with its own time, a map link and a calendar button, and guests reply for each.

Can the invitation be in Tamil, Telugu or Hindi?

Yes, or Gujarati, Kannada, English and many more: tell us your family’s language. The song, if you’d like one, is written in that language’s own way of rhyming.

Can we have music without words, or no music?

Yes: a song, instrumental music, or no music at all. You can also ask for new words for the song.

Will it show a deity or a religious symbol?

It isn’t meant to, unless you ask: Rhyora doesn’t assume a family’s faith. Tell it the blessing or the symbol you’d like, and it’s part of what your invitation is drawn from.

What does it cost?

One purchase covers the whole invitation: its artwork, the song if you’d like one, and the link you share. The current price is on our pricing page.

Can our guests reply on the invitation?

Yes. On the same link, guests tap Reply and say yes, no or maybe, and how many are coming — no app and no sign-up. You see every answer, and how many are coming, in your studio. Replies close after the day, and you can turn them off.
